Job Description/Responsibilities:

Expansion of the TUP approach into BRAC’s international operations: This includes working with country teams and the BRAC TUP program to develop context specific program designs, manage the development of proposals and budgets, provide leadership and direction for in-country advocacy and manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and donors.
Develop and manage BRAC’s TUP knowledge repository. Work closely with BRAC’s TUP program, related supporting departments, other BRAC entities and external consultants to facilitate the development of a suite of knowledge products including research and policy related documentation, technical service offerings and implementation support collateral. Examples of content in the knowledge repository/portal include BRAC’s impact research, online/offline staff training modules, implementation guides and standardized M&E processes.
Global advocacy: Manage the TUP Advocacy activities of the senior TUP Advocacy spokespersons. Ensure BRAC presence at high level meetings and conferences, prepare spokespeople with talking points, presentations and supporting collateral. Debrief with spokespersons after the event and coordinate with BRAC TUP on any follow for immersion visits or technical assistance.
Educational Requirements:

Advanced degree in Economics, Public Policy and/or Related fields.
Experience Requirements:

Significant experience in the development sector, particularly in poverty alleviation, with a focus on program development, advocacy and partnerships. Experience working in or exposure to Africa highly preferred
Additional Job Requirements:

A high degree of fluency in English required, with additional language competencies seen as an asset
Exceptional writing skills -- demonstrated success in writing complex proposals
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills including the ability to effectively liaise with people in diverse multi-cultural environments
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to interpret, analyze, and represent complex international development issues across a variety of contexts to a diverse set of stakeholders including policy makers, implementation agencies and donors
Ability to travel internationally
Commitment to and understanding of BRAC’s values and mission.
